ThinkGP News and Education for Health Professionals: A new CPD activity for adult sexual assault was launched on the educational site ThinkGP in June, 2014. It is free to join ThinkGP, a site that currently has 21000 Doctors enrolled, half of whom are GPs and half either trainees or other specialties. The activity automatically attracts 4 CPD points for RACGP and 2 points for ACRRM. The activity was prepared and reviewed by members of FAMSACA and supported by a grant from the RACP. Evaluation of the activity is important and those undertaking the cases will be asked to complete an evaluation at the end. Please click on following link ThinkGP for further information.

Forensic Photography Workshop 14-15 October, 2014: The Richmond Sexual Assault Service (Lismore) is hosting clinical forensic photography workshop. Suitable for clinicians interested in clinical forensic photography, including beginner to advanced. Workshop cost is free, however FAMSACA will be providing 10 x $400 sponsorships to assist with travel and accommodation.
